RECIPE - The Perfect Mate Latte
With the colder temperatures slowly settling in, what better than to drink a good mate latte to stay warm at home, or to « pimp » your regular infusion to face the day!
Good news! We have the ideal recipe and ingredient to prepare the Perfect Mate Latte at home. And since, at Mateina, we promote the culture of sharing around yerba mate, we want to share this simple and quick recipe with you!
What you need to prepare your Perfect Mate Latte:
- 2 mate bags, Original flavour
- Your favourite plant-based milk
- Maple syrup
- Ground cinnamon
- A milk frother
How to prepare your Perfect Mate Latte:
- In a mug, infuse the 2 mate bags in half a cup of hot water. Let it brew for 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, in the milk frother, add half a cup of your plant-based milk & a tablespoon of maple syrup. Froth.
- Add the frothed milk to the mate infusion.
- You can add a pinch of ground cinnamon on the froth.
